Maulud Mubarak.
Bismi'llah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim...for the sake of Prophet Muhammad saws and Sheikh Nazim may Allah protect his secret.
Maulud Mubarak everybody! Here in Orgiva we've just had a wee drink in Sheikh Omar's beautiful tavern in the campo singing songs and making dhikr accompanied by "tambores". A lovely and elevating way to start the celebrations with some tea and dates and enchanting recitation from Moroccan Ahmad, our resident sayidd.
Alhamduli'llah wa shukruli'llah!
Welcome welcome ! All are welcome .. you may visit us any time .. the celebrations continue until next Sunday evening, Orgiva is the host venue this year for all mureeds from all over Spain (La Vera, Madrid, Ibiza etc) and anywhere else in the world!

nice blog, masaallah..
Do you know Sheikh Nazim?
Yes I do.(sorry not to reply earlier I have been busy, away working.)I first met him in Googe Street mosque in Christmas 1984 and many times since in Peckham and St Anne's in London when he used to come for Ramadan. Also my wife and I lived in Cyprus for a couple of years and used to see him every day then at his house and dergah there.
Had a quick look at your blog/s.Nothing in English though.I recognise the name Kenwood Park but don't remember exactly where it is. Is that the one near to St Anne's Dergah in Seven Sisiters ? Or which area of London does it fall in ? I think I used to drive there for a break with my lovely wife Bilquis when we often stayed at the Dergah during and after Ramadan.
