Jasmine perfume wafts in through the window on the sea breeze. How beautiful! Who can make or do anything better than Allah ? The only slightly strange thing is that I don't remember seeing any Jasmine plant in the near vicinity of the house. I go outside to look but can see none. Perhaps it is on a terrace on a higher floor ?

Oh Allah I love to write .. even in a Word document. I love to see print on a page ..words on a blank screen. You have given us Your Word, in the Generous Holy Koran, through one who could neither read nor write, and You promised it would never be changed.

Open it for us oh Allah and open our understanding of it. Ya Fatahh ! (Oh Opener !)

May there be new and deepened understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims in Great Britain and across the world in the wake of those awful London bombings.

If any nation will take the trouble to look deeply, objectively and respectfully at the real Islam, it would most probably be Britain with it's sincere multi-cultural outlook and tradition of justice.
